The City Economic Management and Cooperative Development Office (CEMCDO) has recently participated in the Brigada Eskwela Regional kickoff at GSC High School, Barangay Calumpang last March 30, 2018.
With CEMCDO’s department head, Leonard V. Flores spearheading the clean-up drive at 08:00 hours, the team enjoyed the painting of walls and ceilings of their designated buildings. CEMCDO’s clean-up drive serves as part of its commitment to the renovation and cleaning of buildings and classrooms. Likewise, the Department of Education calls the community and stakeholders for their pledge to public school arrangements. Gallons of paints and brooms were later donated by CEMCDO to the event coordinator.
“We are grateful for CEMCDO’s donations and unity in this event and this will be well this year in 2018,” Juvy A. Juanico, GSCHS Brigada Eskwela event coordinator said.
Brigada Eskwela is a program of the National Schools Maintenance Week which seeks to integrate all stakeholders of education to help prepare and ready all public school facilities for the opening of the school year in June. This year’s theme is Pagkakaisa para sa Ligtas na Paaralan at Matatag na Paaralan sa Magandang Kinabukasan. #
